All CFs are required to be fluent in American Sign Language and pass several online training modules.


Training will take up to a total of 40 hours, 32 hours are online and 8 hours are in person with a requestor and explained CF.

Communication Facilitators (CFs)


Provide DeafBlind and Deaf or Hard of Hearing Oregonians with an upper mobility disability with access to make and receive video to video and Video Relay Services calls.


Available throughout Oregon 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year with no restrictions on the number, length, or type of video call.


All requestors’ information and video calls regardless of content are confidential.


Out of state visitors may use CF services.
